Cropping removes unwanted edges and changes composition without stretching the remaining pixels. Drag the image to position the important area, pinch or use the zoom control, and choose a fixed ratio when a form or social platform specifies one. The crop rectangle is always clamped to the real image bounds.

It is the relationship between width and height. A 1:1 ratio is square, while 3:4 is taller than it is wide.
Can I crop on a phone?
Yes. Drag with one finger and pinch with two fingers. All controls use mobile-sized touch targets.
Does rotate change the download?
Yes. Each 90-degree rotation is applied to the final canvas, including swapped width and height where appropriate.
Will cropping reduce quality?
Cropping keeps the selected pixels, but strong zoom leaves fewer pixels for the result. Avoid zooming farther than necessary.
